5. Not a medical device or regulated clinical system
Unless Amara expressly states otherwise in a signed written agreement after required regulatory clearance, approval, registration, or authorization, the Service is not approved, cleared, licensed, registered, or marketed as a regulated medical device, diagnostic instrument, clinical decision-support system, electronic medical record, hospital information system, pharmacy system, emergency system, or provider-of-record system.

• AI may hallucinate, over-simplify, omit important context, summarize incorrectly, translate incorrectly, compare incorrectly, or present uncertain information confidently.
• Charts and trend views may be wrong if reports are missing, duplicated, mislabeled, extracted incorrectly, or use different units or reference ranges.
• Medicine explanations may be incomplete, outdated, jurisdiction-specific, or not applicable to your condition, age, pregnancy status, allergies, other medicines, or medical history.
• Language translations may change meaning and should not be treated as official medical translations.
You assume the risk of using beta AI outputs and agree that Amara is not responsible for decisions made based on AI outputs, summaries, charts, extracted values, translations, medicine explanations, flags, or uploaded documents.
11. Family profiles and caregiver use
Family and caregiver features are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining required consent and authority from the person whose information you upload or manage.
If another person asks us to remove information that you uploaded about them, we may restrict access, request proof of authority, delete the information, suspend the account or profile, or take other steps we consider appropriate under applicable law.
12. Sharing links, exports, and downloads
If you generate a share link, export a summary, download a file, or send information to another person, you are responsible for choosing the recipient, checking the content, setting expiry and access permissions, and revoking access when needed.
Recipients may copy, download, forward, screenshot, print, or further disclose information after they receive it. Amara is not responsible for onward sharing by recipients outside the Service.
13. Doctor, clinic, hospital, and care-provider use
Doctors, clinics, hospitals, care teams, and healthcare organizations may not use Amara for production clinical workflows unless they have a separate written agreement with Amara that addresses roles, privacy, security, retention, audit, support, liability, incident response, and applicable health privacy laws.
Providers remain responsible for independent professional judgment, patient care, charting, recordkeeping, informed consent, clinical review, and compliance with professional and legal obligations. Amara outputs must not be used as the sole basis for clinical care.
14. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Amara for emergencies, self-diagnosis, self-treatment, medication changes, or as the sole basis for medical, clinical, insurance, legal, employment, or safety decisions.

You agree not to use Amara in violation of privacy, health, consumer protection, export control, sanctions, intellectual property, or other applicable laws.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate access to the Service or any feature if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms or the Privacy Policy, your use creates a security, privacy, legal, operational, or safety risk, or we must comply with law or regulator requests.
You may stop using Amara at any time. You may request deletion of your reports or account as described in the Privacy Policy.

Unless non-waivable local consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Arbitration will be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with remote participation available for users in the United States and Canada.
